The Second Annual Miami Beach Concours hosted at the Miami Beach Golf Club. A French Judged display of the worlds greatest post war automobiles.
Sunday, March 20th the Concours event will officially kick off at 12:00 p.m. with live entertainment including famed DJ Irie, an F1 simulator competition with a $10,000 cash prize, food fare, fireworks, limited run merchandise and the premiere showcase of prized collector cars. Best in Show honors will be determined by a celebrity judge and Concours panel consisting of Valentino Balboni, Greg Trahcy, Master of Ceremonies Emerson Fiitipaldi and the trophies presented by Paolo Pininfarina.
This year’s lineup includes some of the world’s finest collections. Notable vehicles on display include a $19 million Ferrari 250 California, a $3 million Lamborghini Miura SV and a $6 million 1967 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Lone Survivor Foundation and honorary guest Marcus Luttrell the Navy Seal portrayed by Mark Wahlberg in the film Lone Survivor will be in attendance as well.
John Temerian, co-producer and curator of the Miami Beach Concours stated, “This couldn’t be a better moment to honor of service men and women, while collaborating on such an influential stage. It is times like these to acknowledge American heroes and give back as much as possible.”
Jay Pollak, a co-producer of the Concours added, “While we are upholding some of the traditional elements of what a Concours is, we are dedicated to elevating the Concours experience–celebrating the vehicles, the collectors and the enthusiasts in a unique and impactful way.”
