Жильбер Коэн — человек, имя которого неразрывно
связано с понятием French Touch и становлением современной французской электронной сцены. Программный директор парижского Radio Nova в его лучшие годы, участник совместного с I:Cube проекта Château Flight и основатель лейбла Versatile — уже этого хватило бы на почетное место в истории, хотя сделал Жильбер гораздо больше. Сегодня на Versatile, история которого началась с релиза с одним из первых ремиксов Daft Punk, в этом году исполняется 20 лет, выпускаются знаковые артисты, наглядно отражающие картину современного состояния диджей-культуры: DJ Sotofett, Bufiman, ACID ARAB и другие. Как и Билл Брюстер, Gilb’r совершенно не ограничивает себя в жанровом смысле, превращая свои диджей-сеты в особую форму современного искусства.

Author of a dj’s bible «Last Night A DJ Saved My Life», the most long-term
author at american Mixmag, ex-resident of London’s legendary Fabric club and the main expert in dj’s history perform twice this night: first as open interview in New Holland Pavilion (http://www.newhollandsp.ru/en/events/other/dj-history/ [ http://www.newhollandsp.ru/en/events/other/dj-history/ ] ) and next - at the turntables of the Kuznya House. Bill haven’t been in Russia for 15 years, and back then, as Bill says, it was unsuccessful experience in Moscow. But now he going to play as it should be - from funk and hip-hop to underground house and (as he says) cold contain disco.

Touch concept and a building of a French modern electronic scene. Program director of a Paris based Radio Nova in it’s best years, part of Château Flight duo with I:Cube and Versatile label founder - this is all ready enough
for honorable place in history, but Gilbert did more. Today Versatile,
witch story started 20 years ago from a release with a very first remix of Dаft Punk, released an modern iconic artists like DJ Sotofett, Bufiman, ACID ARAB and more these days. As Bill Brewster, Gilb’r absolutely multi-genre dj, and it’s made his sets sort of a special modern art form.
